V/A - "NO EXCUSES" CS

RACK OFF RECORDS: No Excuses was recorded live at the Thornbury Bowls Club on the 24th of April 2022 at a show in loving memory of ride or die of the scene, Nathan Ashworth who sadly passed away from brain cancer at the back end of 2021. The day saw over $10,000 raised for The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation in Nathan's name and funds from this tape go directly to growing that total.

Recorded and mixed by Alicia Saye, kindly mastered as a donation by Mikey Young, Cover Art by the always supportive SpiderXDeath and photos from the day by Ben Hudson. The tape captures a moment in time where the scene came together to support each other, throw a killer event that Nath would have been so proud of, and raise much needed funds in hope that Nathan's legacy can help others in his position in the future.

About Nathan Ashworth: Nathan Ashworth/Crashworth/the punk on two wheels was a music lover and a mate to many. When he wasn’t out testing the structural integrity of his bones whilst mountain biking or showing us all up on the roadie, you could catch him at all the shows. Most of the time standing at the back, acutely aware of his towering height and not wanting to stand in the way of anyone else there to enjoy the dulcet tones of Melbourne’s finest punk and hardcore bands.

Because that was the type of guy Nath was. Selfless, caring and despite his impressive collection of Russian-criminal-esque looking
tattoos, an angel with a huge heart. He loved a good time spent with
good people and this show was just that. Now that he’s gone, we’re left
to keep giving it a good crack for him. No Excuses
