UNDER HEAT RECORDS:
We've been searching the depths of bandcamp, the pits of youtube and the jungles of blogs to find fresh stock and hot rock. and buddy we have a magma level hit for you
we came across Tommy Cossack after he uploaded a few tracks to his bandcamp, with no promotion or fanfare, he instantly stood out from the pack with his near omnipotent style of melody and sarcastic lyricism. it was rough around the edges but there was some extreme talent. we hit him up and after sending over demos, rough cuts and ideas, we watched his S/T masterpiece form in front of us
consisting of three remastered and reworked tracks from his earlier demos, two other reworkings with live drums and two BRAND SPANKIN NEW tracks (one can be heard right now), Tommys debut is a lightingbolt demonstration of his wholey unique approach to rock and roll
i kept trying to think of something to compare it to and the closest i could come to was a more dad rock version of powerplant, but thats not even close. tommy is completely unique and unmatched as of right now. riffing guitars over more and more riffs with screeching and teeth grating vocals. programed and frantic drums that make you want to dance. its just awesome. ive had this ep for a while now and i havent stopped listening to this
