Post Punk with a popped up buoyant Brit Pop/Shoegaze twist. If The Men tried sounding more like The Cure this would be close to the result. If they were from the suburbs of a major Australian city this would be the exact result. Think; if Orion made it to their fourth LP and had less reason to be glum.

Released in November 2021, The Dunes You Wander In is the second full-length album from Naarm-based multi-instrumentalist SERF, aka Rory Maxwell.  With influences from 80s shoegaze to modern Russian post-punk, the album was described by Conor Lochrie at Trouble Juice as "a muscular mix of steely post-punk and shining synth-pop".
