CHUCKY EDGE:
"The Nine Emperor Gods Festival starts on the 9th Lunar Month of h=the Chinese Calendar. When participating in the festival there are rules; wearing white, no sex, no alcohol, and sticking to a strict vegetarian diet. The people wearing the aprons are known as 'Mah Song' which translates to 'Horses of The Gods'. They appear in a trance like state because the Gods have entered their body, therefore they feel no pain when they participate in the acts of self mutilation."
