The actual realest. Typhus are sometimes referred to as "the first Japanese hardcore band", which is extremely dependent on what you would consider "hardcore"; my vote goes to SS but... we're already sidetracked. Point being, TYPHUS are unbelievable. Hooky, frantic hardcore that sticks around just long enough to get stuck in your head. This demo is the best thing they ever did. Recorded with a "mystery" female vocalist, who evidently left the band shortly after this recording, it's her performance that really sets this recording apart from the endless piles of flexies that their contemporaries had to offer. With members going on to join The Stalin and form GISM, these recordings represent the birth of the best. Limited copies.
