HEARTS: ‘a book in passings’ tells the story of nameless youth’s travel across Europe. Hitchhiking, walking and sweeping across the land aboard trains, his travel sketch washes into a stream of consciousness; a river which meanders without a sea to return to. Radically reflective, at times simple, and at times poetic in its prose, ‘a book in passings’ is a story that is determined to explore a spiral of unanswerable questions, and which has claimed as its hill to die on, the paradox of telling a story about the stories we tell to ourselves.
